A fantastic team activity where the participating teams compete against one another in and around the chosen area (conference center/hotel).
Each team has a rucksack filled with tools, a polaroid camera (10 photos), a task-book, a map, a schedule and a list containing questions and different problems to be solved. There are 30-40 different exercises included in the folder of which 10 involve taking photos of something or someone in different situations. Other exercises could be to make something, find a place or a person or acquire an object. Certain places will be marked on the maps where the team should make there way to find a clue and code name, or places where they should be at a certain time to take part in a team activity.
After a short briefing where the teams receive instructions and encouragement The Challenge starts, planning, teamwork, coordination, initiative, determination and a sense of humour are all qualities that are put to the test.
At the finish all teams hand in their materials and it takes about an hour to compile & summarise the points. We then conclude the activity with a review of the days efforts before we announce the winners, who deservedly receive medals and their competitors applause.
